The citizens of Musselshell Valley, Montana, are pleased to announce the 5th annual summer festival, Roundup Independence Days Extravaganza (RIDE), which will be held from July 2-5, 2009. RIDE will feature:

The entire town is helping to plan the event under the umbrella of the Musselshell Valley Community Foundation. Many businesses and organizations in town are joining together to organize the various activities.
Headlining Friday night will be The Alley Cats. This popular national singing group regularly opens for Jay Leno in Las Vegas. Also headlining Friday is the very popular Folk/Rock group from Vancouver, Canada, Clumsy Lovers. The show will open with a great national music and comedy duet, The Calhoun's. The end of the evening will be, what many people believe, is the best fireworks show in Montana.
Headlining Saturday night will be Country Music Legend Gene Watson. Gene has had five #1 records and over 20 top ten hits in his career. Local favorites, The Crowdthinners, will open the show. Hall of Fame Dee Jay, Lonnie Bell, will announce the show.
The festival has gained a statewide reputation for being the BEST in affordable family fun.
